vhost4.eq7.fra.datalix.de os disk failure

The OS Disk of vhost4.eq7.fra.datalix.de failed. VMs on the Server are still running fine, as only the os disk failed and not the VM storage disks.

We will stop the system and replace the disk in around 1:30, until then it is not possible to manage vms on that node.

  • VMs are now all up and running.

  • KVM Servers on the node are starting again.

  • The server has now been stopped and should be up and running in arround 30 minutes.

    vhost11.eq7.fra.datalix.de downtime

    Our monitoring has reported that this host is no longer accessible. After a check, it was determined that the server was restarting.

    An investigation into what exactly happened is currently underway, the VMs on the server are starting again.

  • All KVM Servers should be up by now.

    One of the Power Suplys has broken, so the server has been restarted once and is now only running on one of the power supplies. The defective power supply unit will be replaced in the next few days without any downtime.
